Who we are

A forum for faith communities to build peace together.

The Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum brings people of diverse religious, spiritual and indigenous traditions together for dialogue, cooperation and an end to religiously motivated violence.

Our mission

Dialogue that serves a just and peaceful society.

We cultivate harmony among religious and spiritual communities and encourage their engagement with Nigeria and its institutions. We invite individuals and communities who share the goal of a just, peaceful and sustainable Nigeria.

Our vision

A future shaped by respect and shared responsibility.

We envision religious and spiritual communities living in harmony, fear and hatred replaced by understanding, neighbors caring for one another and the richness of our diversity contributing to the common good.

Our approach

Harmony respects the particular character of every tradition.

We do not ask people to erase religious or spiritual differences. We create opportunities for communities to draw on their own wisdom and values while building respectful, appreciative and cooperative relationships with people of other traditions. Through dialogue and practical cooperation, communities can address tensions and work for the good of all.
